Our Mission: Moon Shadow Pictures LLC is a women owned and managed production company with the goal of offering opportunities for women filmmakers and crew, to disabled filmmakers and actors, veterans, and internships to girls and boys, focusing on telling stories in which diversity and equal opportunity are shown as natural circumstances.
A nuclear physicist by day, screenwriter by night, Edward began screenwriting after college. His work has been optioned by Laureate Films, Finest Hour Films, and Level 10 Films. He has also scripted or co-scripted several projects for his writer-director brother Alvin. He currently lives in the Washington, DC area with his wife and two children.

On August 21, 2017 a Total Solar Eclipse crossed the length of the United States from the Oregon coast to North Carolina. This was the first full eclipse of its kind in almost a century. This eclipse was the most photographed and recorded in history. We decided to take advantage of this once in a lifetime event and build a narrative feature length film around it.
Two years in the making, In the Moon’sShadow provided a hit with audiences at the Maine International Film Festival with sold out performances.
Shot in the Belgrade Lakes region of Central Maine, and the quite contrasting Sand Hills of Nebraska, In the Moon’s Shadow uses the Solar Eclipse of 2017 to climax a story that focuses on seeing the familiar differently, as we do during an eclipse.
Debra Lord Cooke and Elissa Piszel play long-estranged sisters displaced by time and place who reconnect at a moment when their lives feel out of control. The vast plains of Nebraska provide an absolutely stunning backdrop to the eclipse.
Lady Lamb's music is a beguiling and imaginative fusion of folk, pop, and indie rock. Bing Records encouraged her to record an album, and Ripely Pine became Lady Lamb's first nationally distributed release.
